Douglas Christmas II

February 10, 2010

~January 2, 2010~

Christmas 2009 was un-white and at times, even rather warm.  While not very carol-inspiring, it did allow for some wood cutting and chopping.  Mom and Dad get their firewood delivered as logs by the truck load into the pasture, then (while maintaining a sizable buffer) just cut some wood when they need it.

So, we cut up the logs, and split them as necessary,…

Dad sawing a log down to fireplace-sized.

…loaded them up in the cart,…

Mom and Dad load the cart with firewood.

…drove it up to the woodshed and unloaded it.

See, I did actually do something besides document the affair.
