Douglas Christmas I

February 10, 2010

~December 26, 2009~

The Douglas family Christmas was very nice.  All of the relatives that ever come for Christmas (except Katie) managed to make it this year.  Of course they weren’t all there at the same time, so it made for a rather distributed system of Christmas.  🙂

Granny, myself, Uncle Jerry & Pat.

There were candy cane cookies, pineapple, Orange Julius, the whole Christmas breakfast smorgasbord.  Mom came up with a new recipe for pinwheel/empanada replacement this year that was faster, easier and (I think) even better with tortillas, cream cheese and a chicken & rice filling.

Dad, of course had to put on every gift he received all at the same time.  (Note to self, I think some Christmas the rest of us should all get together on our gifts and try to really challenge him.)

There was even something for Jean Luc to open and play with.
